What is a Holistic Approach to Treatment?
Holistic treatment considers the whole patient, including their mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and physical health. An imbalance or issue in any of these areas can affect your overall health, so we work hard to learn more about you, and determine the best way to help with your challenges. This can mean anything from helping you get better sleep to providing a chiropractic adjustment for back pain.
What Kinds of Therapies Are Included in Holistic Treatment?
We try to find the right treatment plan for each individual, after doing a careful exam and history. Depending on your issues, we may prescribe a combination of therapies. Chiropractic adjustments are often helpful for patients with back, neck, or joint pain. Pain is a common reason that patients seek us out. People can have pain for many reasons, from sitting too long in an unsupportive chair to being in a car accident. We try to address anything that may be contributing to the pain, in addition to providing adjustments and other therapies.
For people struggling with sleep, or stress—or both, since stress can contribute to lack of sleep—we offer Joov Red Light therapy to help you reset your circadian rhythm and feel more relaxed. Another treatment for stress or anxiety is NuCalm, which uses EM frequencies to activate the sympathetic nervous system, helping you feel calmer.
Additionally, we offer a variety of supplements and other treatment options that may help some patients, based on their individual needs. We also schedule follow-up appointments to see how you’re doing, and make adjustments to your therapy as needed.
Holistic Treatment & Whole-Body Wellness is a Journey
We don’t want to see you once, sell you some supplements, and never see you again. That isn’t part of our philosophy. We know that wellness is a never-ending journey everyone takes, and we want to be with you each step of the way.
We want to continue to adjust your treatment as needed, as time goes by and your symptoms improve. We want to help with future challenges you may have, and we want to help you prevent issues by reducing stress and improving your overall health as much as possible.

Why Consistency Beats Intensity for Long-Term Health
The fitness industry sells intensity: high-intensity interval training, boot camps, extreme challenges, transformation programs that promise dramatic results in weeks. There’s a constant message that harder and faster equals better. But the data on long-term health outcomes tells a different story. Consistent, moderate movement produces better results over time than sporadic intensity—with significantly lower injury…
Spring Allergies and Inflammation: Understanding Your Immune Response
Spring in Florida brings blooming flowers, warmer weather, and—for many people—relentless sneezing, itchy eyes, and sinus pressure. The typical approach is to mask symptoms with antihistamines and wait for pollen season to pass. But there’s a more complete picture to understand. Seasonal allergies aren’t just about pollen exposure—they’re about your immune system’s inflammatory response. And…
The Connection Between Spinal Alignment and Whole-Body Function
Most people think about their spine when something hurts—back pain, neck stiffness, sciatica. But spinal alignment affects systems you wouldn’t necessarily expect: digestion, immunity, sleep quality, even mood. Understanding these connections helps explain why seemingly unrelated symptoms sometimes resolve together, and why addressing spinal mechanics can produce benefits well beyond pain relief. Your Spine as…
Heart Health Beyond Cardio
When most people think about cardiovascular health, they focus on exercise intensity, cholesterol numbers, and blood pressure readings. These factors matter, but they’re incomplete. Two additional factors—chronic inflammation and nervous system stress—have comparable or greater impact on long-term cardiovascular outcomes. February is a useful time to consider the fuller picture of what actually protects your…
